24/07/2010

We will be collaborating with Quay Arts again for two Open Weekend events inviting visitors to join us and discover the creative life of Newport Quay on the Isle of Wight.

On Saturday 24th July, the Jubilee Stores will be open for a free community workshop from 10am- to 3pm. Tim Johnson from Quay Arts and No Man is an Island artists will be offering visitors an opportunity to make something special for an exhibition! The workshop is suitable for people of all ages and abilities and materials will be provided. Work from the day's event will be included in a Quay Arts exhibition in the Learning Curve Gallery, called ‘Cityscapes and Villagescapes’, which opens on 28th July and will be showing until 14th August.

The Jubilee Stores is fully accessible. Some free parking is available for workshop visitors next to the Jubilee Stores

We were thrilled to meet hundreds of visitors during last year's Open Weekend events and we're  looking forward to welcoming everyone again this year.
